If one was to choose the worst film of the summer season what would it be? I didn't see any movies in the theater for about a year now, but I'm hedging my bets on what people will say. So far, my friends have all been saying either Dukes of Hazzard or War of the Worlds. On a related note, is March of the Penguins really all they're saying it is? I mean, they're penguins. They don't even drink or crack wise, from what I've heard. If anyone's seen that one, is worth the time and money of a person who generally like documentaries but doesn't like nature films or anything else where nothing happens for several minutes?

Well, you've brought up a classic argument. Which is worse, the wholly unecessary remake of a dumb 1970s show or the wholly unecessary sequel a dumb Rob Schneider movie?
My money's on Schneider. I hate that guy.

I wouldn't say that War of the Worlds is the worst movie of the summer, but it certainly declined in quality the most from the beginning to the ending. But that's because the beginning was really good and as such it had the farthest to fall.
