Unless it has Will Smith comically saying "Damn!" or "Ah hell nah!" I don't want to hear about it.

I refuse to see that movie, but only because everybody who's seen it has told me it's "cute, surprisingly." This is a Will Smith movie... so what's surprising about the cute part? That's kind of his only appeal. Now, if he decided to play the part of a semi-suicidal druglord on a wave of destruction, a serial killer, or any other potentially badass role... THEN I'll go see one of his movies.

I never thought I'd see the day Jamie Foxx eclipsed Will Smith as an actor.

I saw it, not for Will Smith, but for Kevin James... Kevin James is hilarious

Obviously this is a rather jaded group-- I will only say that Will Smith was toned down as Will Smith and fit the role suprisingly well-- could have mistaken him for an excellent romantic comedy actor guy.... and I didn't hear any "aw hell nah" or "damn!", but perhaps I overlooked them.
Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I paid $10.50 (because New York City is out of control) and I don't regret it. So, therefore, I stand by my original approval rating of "yay! I saw a fun movie!"
