So, I offered pretty much all I had in the way of music in the most recent news post -- but I'm curious as to what's out there that may be good and that I haven't heard.
Any suggestions?

Moof! I like classic rock that really rocks! -verbally soothing It's definitely way better than classic rock that only kind of rocks, like, you know, Foreigner or Yes. Loverboy, too.

Dunno if you're into rap at all, but Murs is pretty cool. Also, The Shins have got all that Garden State buzz going.

Haven't heard of Murs, but then again, all the hip-hop I've listened to lately has been MF Doom-related. I'll have to check it out.

Matt.....Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. I don't understand how we could say we had good taste in music while we weren't listening to Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.

I bought the newest Ghostface Killah album with the new LCD Soundsystem album at a convenience store, of all places. Both of which are amazingly good.
The NEX has the craziest selection of music.

Also, in keeping with your new found pop appreciation, I've found that the "As heard on Radio Soulwax" collections (and just about any other respectable bootleg scene) are strikingly compelling. There's just something about blending Nirvana with Destiny's Child that just seems so very very right.

I'll have to see about this Ted Leo and the Phramacists. And I keep hearing a lot of good things about the Ghostface album, I just don't know why I didn't want to believe it.
